Cascade Brewery is Australia’s oldest continuously operating brewery, founded in 1824 by Peter Degraves (1778–1852) at the foot of kunanyi/Mount Wellington in South Hobart. The sandstone brewhouse on Cascade Road produces the Cascade range of lagers and ales and runs daily tours of the historic site. Now part of Asahi Beverages, the brewery began a heritage restoration of its façade in 2024.
